Next time you catch yourself in a prospecting situation where you are asking yourself whether to lead with the Product or Business? My suggestion is, lead with your heart. Meaning, lead with your truth and connect it with what they value. Open up and express your passion (briefly)….then ask a leading question to determine if they are looking for answers. Only then will you know if you have a suspect or a prospect. We are looking for those individuals who are looking for us!
If we prospect from a posture of strength we atract strong leaders….if we prospect from a posture of need, we attract needy followers.
Remember, we wouldn’t have a Business without our Product….and….we wouldn’t have a Product without our Business.

“Mark Yarnell advises Beware of the Scatter Bomb!”
Ever wonder why the more successful you become, the more distractions that arise? One inescapable reality in network marketing is there will be many people, other opportunities and countless other distractions pulling you off track. The trick is to be aware, keep your eye on your destination and learn how to refocus and get right back on track.
A wonderful example is the Apollo Lunar Mission. Any guess as to what percent of the time the Apollo Spacecraft was on a direct course to the moon? ….. Well, it’s less than 1 percent!! Yes, that’s right, 99 percent of the time was spent correcting itself to get back on course. Yet, it reached it’s destination, with it’s precious cargo, safe and sound!
A favorite mentor, Mark Yarnell, calls this “The Scatter Bomb”. It’s what can shoot down even the most talented and hard working Network Marketer. But only if they stop viewing their over-all daily activities and checking the simple gauges along the way.
Remember, ride one horse at a time, keep your feet in the stirrups and on the reins. Otherwise your horse may very well get there without you, eh! : ))

As all of us know, if we want to catch more fish, there are three main actions we can take: 1. Put more hooks in the water. 2. Go where there are more fish. 3. Use better bait.
I view our hooks as the different, proven Reaching out Methods that we employ to locate, sort and attract quality prospects to our products and business. So, if you truly want to grow your business stronger and faster (ie; catching more and larger fish), then put a variety of Reaching Out Methods in motion. I will be sharing a number of proven and fun ROM’s, where to find good fish and some of the best bait that we have used. As far as fishing in the right location? Part of that equation is prospecting up (at your level and above). Also, it entails pro-actively going where you will find professional people. And, the most important “bait” is clearly our own results and passion …..and the wonderfully powerful tools that we use to share the story with. If you want to attract quality people, then become your ideal business partner. If you want to build a dynamic, growing team of leaders then “lead” the way yourself. In summary, to catch a boat load of big fish…..* Put many hooks in the water. * Always use the best bait possible….and….* Fish where you know you will find the best & biggest fish!

A Message Worth Hearing: (Excerpt from Joy’s journal)
It was a Saturday morning, Robert and I were going about our morning rituals. We have hot tea or coffee, then our Shakes, (honesty is the best policy, I love my morning coffee) and read our email, check our face book pages, review our affirmations and the day’s checklist. As I was checking my email I had a message from our dear friend, Jim Rhoades. Inside of that message was a message that said, get your Kleenex ready! I thought oh I don’t want a tear jerker this early in the morning. I had so much to do today with Jim coming to our home, the potluck on Sunday, groceries to buy, house to clean….you get the point!
Since this was from Jim, I clicked on it and as the video began to unfold, oh my! My whole body felt the power of a young man’s life and how as a Mother, I knew the pain his parents must feel and felt. You see, the young man is Nick Vujicic . Nick was born without arms or legs. He has somewhat of a flipper for a foot.
As I watched the video, the tears began to roll down my face. You see he spoke of never, never giving up! Nick has ever reason in the world to give up but has chosen to live his life sharing his story with people. Nick stated in another video I watched that he has fought depression as a child, suicidal thoughts, and imagine this one, “He just did not fit it in with the crowd.”
As I continued to listen he stressed three points that are so important in all of our lives. They are:
Perspective
Vision
Choices
Can you imagine being handed this deal in life and you are able to stand before millions of people and talk about perspective, vision and choices and how they affect our lives.
Nick’s message is “Life without Limbs.” For all of us, we all have our “limbs”! Oh they all come in different forms but they are almost always the same. Problems, circumstances, disadvantages and the list goes on. The question to me and to each of us, how do we chose to handle “the limbs” that life throws at us? Whether we quit Isagenix or quit on a friendship or whatever because the journey is too hard, this young man will make you think twice about it.
A quote from Nick is, “The day you believe you have reached your fullest potential, is the day You Have Not!”

Ever wonder why the top bananas in a given company or across the industry tend to train, prospect and coach in a certain, consistent way? Well, maybe they’ve discovered an essential component of an unstoppable and massively growing business. It boils down to one word, “Duplication”.
They’ve discovered the key to massive growth is the ability to teach a simple and duplicatible method. They know the issue is not their knowledge or magical words, but the “Tools” and “System” that they plug into. Question is, are you plugged into a System? Can you show your Newbies a simple path to plug into? If not…then, are you the Leader that the quality people that you are looking for will want to partner with?
So, at the end of every approach, coaching call, 3- way, etc… The key questions to ask ourselves are: Can the average Associate in my organization do exactly what I just did? Am I sharing information in a way that anyone can pick-up and do in the same way? Are the action steps and knowledge that I share in an easily accessible form by anyone in my organization?
Bottom line — Am I being duplicatable? If not, put the ego aside, become the student and plug into a “proven” System. Your pocketbook and your Team will thank you!
