PATHWAY TO OUR DREAMS = “COMMITMENT”

If there is one quality that every highly successful Networker has in abundance, it is the ability to rise up and fully “COMMIT” to the journey that they have chosen. Personally, I haven’t always been the most naturally talented in many endeavors, yet I always consistently showed up and stepped up. And that made all the difference.

The writing below, by the great poet and philosopher Goethe, sums up to me the true essence of the recipe for major success in our life and business.

“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back - Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Simple/Effective “5 STEP PHONE OUTLINE”

Remember, Ignorance on Fire is 10 times more effective than Knowledge on Ice! When I began my Networking Marketing journey a number of years ago, I actually wrote these 5 words on the back of my business card and taped it to my phone! It really helped give me a little prompt and outline for my calls. Especially when the phone looked like a 500 lb Gorilla!! 

• TIME: Hello _______, do you have a minute? – or – Is this a good time?
• SHARE ENTHUSIASM: I was so excited to call you about an ideal that I would love to get your opinion on! -or – I couldn’t wait to call and connect with you about what we have recently experienced! etc.
• COMPLIMENT: I’ve always admired your business skills and way with people! – or – You always look sharp and are the ultimate professional! etc.
• DISCLAIMER: This very well may not be for you. – or – Maybe you can help me, I am looking for people who___________?
• OBJECTIVE: Would you take a few minutes and look over our information? – or – Do you keep your options for looking at other streams of income and/or “PRODUCT BENEFIT”?

BUSINESS-BUILDING TIPS FROM A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR PRODUCER?

Today I’m sharing a few key tips from a wonderful, heart-centered multi-million dollar producer, industry icon, mentor and friend, Jimmy Smith. What an example of how to live life and build our business. Enjoy these nuggets, we love ya Jimmy!

• Know we’re in the right place at the right time with Network Marketing. Timing is everything. Recognize we’re there and get into massive action. The more people we talk to, the more successful we’ll be.
• Three ways to kill our business are pride, greed and impatience. Make sure to ask for help when we need it.
• Network Marketing is all about leveraging ourselves through people. For a small investment we can be on our way to building a successful business. We can’t do that in other industries.
• The greatest tool is the 3-way call. Use it to stay in touch with team members and prospects. I learned long ago that I can cover more ground with my cell phone than by plane or by car.
• To turn “pro” in Network Marketing, read as many books as you can about the industry. Listen to audio CDs, Conference Calls, watch DVDs, etc. Always be a lifetime student!
• The day we stop dreaming in this life, it’s over. We have to keep dreaming, Dream as far as we can and when we get there, dream further!
• I learned a key lesson early on called the “Law of Reciprocity“, what goes around comes around.

ATTRACTING MORE OF THE “RIGHT” PEOPLE?

How would you like to attract more Leaders that share your values? How about individuals that are strong in the areas where you are weak? Experiencing leaders who are showing up and are looking for what we have to offer?

Well, one of the best ways to attract more individuals who have the values, personality and skills that we are looking for in potential Business Partners is to write them down and “FOCUS” on them. I am finding that when I become crystal clear on WHO I am looking for, an amazing thing happens…more and more quality “Prospects” show up!

Here are my top 5 qualities that I am looking for in my future Business Partners & Team Leaders:

Here are a few other examples, to get your creativity flowing: passionate, goal-getter, pro-active, self starter, professional, prompt, fun, visionary, big thinker, live in truth, entrepreneurial, spiritual, god-centered and/or determined.

Tip: This exercise works best when you write these qualities down and post them around your personal space! Put them where you see and read them on a regular basis. In other words, ingrain them into your sub-conscious and then you will attract more of the same!
